Independence Day

A celebrated day in our history when the original 13 colonies decided we were to break off from the British Monarch under King George III rule. Instead they unified, free, and independent states. By signing the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, making it official.

A lot of our celebrations are in line with a letter that was written from John Adams to his wife Abigail upon signing the Declaration of Independence.

"The second day of July 1775, will be the most memorable epoch in the history of America. I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated by succeeding generations as the great anniversary festival. It ought to be commemorated as the day of deliverance, by solemn acts of devotion to God Almighty. It ought to be solemnized with pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires, and illuminations, from one end of this continent to the other, from this time forward forever more."

In observance of our independence, Mechanical Enterprises, Inc. will be closed on Tuesday, July 4, 2023. We will reopen our offices on Wednesday, July 5, 2023.
